The Tek Hires New Chief Operations Officer
Raleigh, NC – The Tek, the Triangle’s leading provider of I.T. Managed Services and Cyber Security announced today the hiring of Jim Cumming as their new Chief Operations Officer. Jim, replaces Rick Miller who transitioned into the role of Chief Visionary Officer in early March.
Jim Cumming a native of North Carolina, brings his over 14 years of experience in the information technology industry to The Tek. “His expertise made him a natural fit for the role”, says, Joey Costa, CEO. “We’re lucky to have found Jim and are excited to add him to our leadership team.”
As a marine corp veteran, Jim has worked closely with corporations like Time Warner, ConnectivitySource, and Access Point, Inc to develop sales and operational infrastructure and leading the charge to increase revenue to over $1 million in less than 12-months. “We’re focused on maintaining the high-quality products and services that our customers have come to depend on and are simultaneously focused on increasing our market share within the Triangle area.”, says Jim.
Jim is slated to begin full-time at The Tek on March 15, 2019. His primary responsibilities will include the expansion of the company’s sales department and day-to-day operational management alongside Joey Costa.
